This week students are exploring the art of M.C. Escher. M.C. Escher is famous for his amazing tessellations! After watching the video, M.C. Escher: Images of Mathematics, students created tessellations. "A tessellation is any pattern made of repeating shapes that covers a surface completely without overlapping or leaving any gaps."
Students were busy completing scripts, finding music to add to their shows and practicing before they are filmed. Each group or individual will add a video of their play to our class SeeSaw. I will send you the logon information once all videos have been added.
Students in Thursday's class used the Talents Unlimited Planning Talent to organize their thoughts and ideas about the shadow puppet plays they are writing. They have the theaters ready, and next week will make the puppets.
Students learned how to access, save, edit and then upload a document to our Moodle online class. This is the first stage in the completion of the Light and Optics Kidblog post.
