This week students are exploring the art of M.C. Escher. M.C. Escher is famous for his amazing tessellations! After watching the video, M.C. Escher: Images of Mathematics, students created tessellations. "A tessellation is any pattern made of repeating shapes that covers a surface completely without overlapping or leaving any gaps."

I love this! I had the M.C. Escher print called "Drawing Hands" on my bedroom wall when I was in high school. Have fun studying such an interesting mind!

I love seeing the class in action! It also warms my heart to see Cooper's pink braided necklace. It was his idea to wear it in support of Breast Cancer awareness.
